some random thoughts/facts

1. today i learned that just because you are 81 inches tall, doesn’t mean you are good at basketball.

2. today i learned that it is difficult to teach old deaf men to play kickball.

3. i have a lot of teeth but my sweet tooth is dominant.

4. for the past few weeks, the only time i watch cable is at work.

5. i have a recently found interest in basketball.

6. about 3 weeks ago, something in me changed. still trying to figure out what it was.

7. i went to longboard to kroger tonight to get some cookies and locked myself out of the house. aaron met me at kroger with the extra garage door opener. he rescued me from imminent outdoor sleep.

8. i am a confused individual.

9. i liked high school more than the average person.

10. i still dream of being a professional athlete even 17 years after being told that it was impossible.

11. my life is soon due for a drastic change- that change is called Austria.

12. i find working with my hands extremely fulfilling.

13. there aren’t many sports that i don’t enjoy playing.

14. one of the things that i want to be really good at as a man is marinating meat and grilling it to perfection.

15. i worry that i will never find a job that i am content with.

14. living in this big house is a lot more lonely than i expected.

13. yesterday i called my mom to see if she wanted to come to denton to help me with a garage sale this summer. without hesitation, she said yes. i love that.

12. i’ve been thinking about making a list of goals for my year in austria. that probably won’t reach past the thought phase.

11. some things are worth thinking over. some are worth hurting over. deciphering between the two is where it gets tricky.

10. i wish that my friend justin and his wife haley would move to denton. even if only for the summer.

9. i wonder if i will ever find what i am looking for.

8. one of the reasons i love being on the longboard or bike is so that i can feel the wind in my face.
